Hola. My name is Justin Sanner and I am pianist and piano instructor located in the Upper Market/Twin Peaks area of

San Francisco.

My fixed fee for piano instruction is $55.00 per hour and $80.00 for 90 minute sessions. I teach students in my piano studio in the afternoon and early evening hours during the weekday, and on weekends.

I am a very down-to-earth, informal, open-minded, patient and experienced piano teacher. I have many years of private one-on-one piano teaching and performing experience. I teach all skill levels from beginners to those studying the more advanced pieces of the classical piano repertoire.

Some of my piano students have chosen to concentrate on improving their sight-reading abilities, as they have come to realise the importance and the many benefits of being a good sight-reader. For these students, I have been very pleased with their sight-reading progress. They all (literally) have been very pleased and surprised by their sight-reading progress because for years they had dreaded sight-reading, attached a negative stigma to it, and they had come to assume and accept that they would always be a poor sight-reader. Not so. That has changed with these particular students, I'm pleased to say.

In order to study the piano, a piano student must have regular access to a good quality Acoustic or Digital Piano (88-key full-size keyboard). I welcome adult beginner students and enjoy teaching beginners.
